During the game players try to find out more about their choice and make an appointment with her for the next dating. The title has new heroines and mini-games unavailable in the first part of the cycle.

Crypt of the NecroDancer lets us play as a girl named Cadence, who sets on a journey to find her missing father. It leads her to the mysterious crypt ruled by an evil demon known as NecroDancer. It casts an unusual curse on the protagonist, making her heart always beat in rhythm of a music.
