Game mode: single player
MUSYNX is a classic music and rhythm game, offering over a hundred different songs and two game modes. The producer of the title is an independent development studio I-Inferno from China. Prototype version MUSYNX was released in 2014 on the PlayStation Vita console under the title MUSYNC and was only available in the short-lived PlayStation Mobile program, which closed in 2015. After the title stopped being sold on PlayStation Store, developers released it on iOS and Android. Since then, developers have been successfully developing the game under a new name and transferring it to other hardware platforms.
MUSYNX uses a classic gameplay model, known for example from the legendary DJMAX cycle. In the course of the game, the screen shows a vertical route divided into several paths, on which colorful blocks appear, moving from top to bottom of the screen. For each track is assigned one of the buttons of the controller, which is pressed at the right moment, to the rhythm of music. On some supported hardware platforms we can alternatively use a touch screen.
MUSYNX offers two gameplay modes. In the first one we use four buttons and in the second one six buttons. In addition, we can choose one of three levels of difficulty and independently determine the speed at which the next blocks appear on the screen. Let's add that all songs of the title are available from the very beginning of the game, because the creators did not foresee the introduction of any campaign or system unlocking further elements of the game.
MUSYNX has an extensive library of over a hundred music pieces created by independent artists from China, Taiwan and Japan, representing a wide variety of music genres such as rock, techno, pop, trance, R&B, and so on. The library of songs is constantly and free of charge extended by developers.
