The first major expansion to Remnant II, a third-person action RPG. Remnant II: The Awakened king is set in the world of Losomn, in the town of Dran, where the player must defeat the mad One True King.

Remnant II: The Awakened King is the first major expansion to Remnant II, an action RPG released in July 2023. Like the base game, it was developed by Gunfire Games.
Plot
Remnant II: The Awakened King is set in the world of Losomn, in the coastal town of Dran, where the castle of The One True King has appeared. The ruler's mind is corrupted, turning him paranoid and vengeful, while his arrival has caused violent tides, chaotic weather and made monsters emerge from the depths. The player must explore the area, face many dangers and put down the King before the entire town collapses.
Mechanics
Remnant II: The Awakened King doesn't change the base game's mechanics, instead introducing new content. There are new locations, a new character class - The Ritualist - more weapons, mods, amulets, rings, new enemies and powerful bosses.
Game modes
Like the base game, Remnant II: The Awakened King supports singleplayer, but only reaches its full potential in co-op.
Technical aspects
Remnant II: The Awakened King is not a standalone expansion, requiring the base version of Remnant II.
