Remnant II

Remnant II is a co-op third-person action game enhanced with RPG elements. It is a sequel to 2019's Remnant: From the Ashes. Both games were developed by Gunfire Games studio, which also has to its credit Chronos: Before the Ashes and Darksiders III, among others.

Plot

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic future, where an invasion by inter-dimensional forces of darkness, known as Root, has led to the collapse of human civilization. Players take on the role of survivors who challenge the armies of evil and try to save the Earth.

After the events of the previous part, humanity finally gets a chance to mount a counteroffensive. This time the heroes leave their planet and go to fight the forces of Root in other worlds and dimensions to stop the armies of darkness from destroying all of reality.

Mechanics

In terms of gameplay mechanics, Remnant II is a development of ideas from the previous installment in the series. Thus, we get a third-person action game enriched with RPG elements. The gameplay focuses mainly on arcade combat, during which we use both white and firearms.

There are several character archetypes to choose from, each with unique abilities and its own development tree, where we unlock additional powers and talents in exchange for experience points accumulated during adventures.

Players can develop several archetypes simultaneously and use them simultaneously, effectively creating their own unique class. The game also offers rich options for upgrading equipment and weaponry. The game is varied by a crafting system.

Game modes

The production is oriented mainly for co-op gameplay, but solo play is also possible.

Technical aspects

The game features an attractive three-dimensional graphics, the main advantage of which is the interesting designs of locations and monsters.
