Riddle's War is a tactical action game whose concept, plot and atmosphere were based on the famous 1898 science fiction novel The War of the Worlds by English writer Herbert George Wells.
Synopsis:
It is a team-based shooter, which heavily exploit the concept, story and atmosphere of H.G. Wells's War of the Worlds. This time, the player will have to confront the second wave of Martian invasion, nearly 25 years after the first incident. Humanity has changed a lot since then, thanks to improvements in technology and politics. But alien attackers took a lesson from the previous attempt, they reconsidered their war plans. You will play the role of a man, who will lead the human resistance in war-torn England.

Martians didn't leave their attempts in conquering the Earth. They spent all these years to research the means to survive against Earth's microbes. They also improved their war machinery and their military strategy. On the other planet, mankind studied the remnants of Martian technology, Earth's leading nations concentrated on the scientific and social improvements. What will happen when these worlds turn on each other again in a deadly clash? Will one man be able to change the outcome of such battle? This is a story of people, who could unite to fight against the nearly invincible enemy. This is a story about the will to fight and the victory despite all the odds.
