An adventure-strategy game, available in a free-to-play model. In Secret Relict we become an archaeologist searching for treasures. Our task is to organize digsites in various corners of the world to gather valuable items. We also have to solve the puzzles of the mysterious sphinx and deal with our competitors.
In addition to a range of economic strategies dedicated to running various businesses, the Upjers company also has other, more original projects in its portfolio. Among the latter is Secret Relict - a production that lies on the border of strategic and adventure games, which allows us to become treasure hunters. The game is distributed in a free-to-play model with microtransactions.
The pillar of gameplay in Secret Relict is conducting excavation work.
Assuming the role of an archaeologist, we search for lost treasures and remnants of ancient civilizations in places such as the desert, jungle, or grassy steppes. Our main work tools are a pickaxe and an axe, but also a rope, diving equipment, or a magnifying glass that allows us to closely examine found objects. With their help, we explore successive territories, looking for rubies, emeralds, quartz, as well as fragments of the titular relics.
Our work is complicated by the fact that more often than not we come across trash like old socks or rusty bottle caps. An additional source of problems can also be our competitors, against whom we can defend ourselves (and whose lives we can make difficult) with the help of voodoo dolls. We must also remember about our limited strength and the need to take a break from excavations. Alternatively we can reach for our wallet and heal faster using microtransactions.
All of this is worth the effort, because as we progress, we improve our skills and also find increasingly valuable treasures. The icing on the cake is the ability to solve increasingly complex puzzles of the mysterious sphinx.
