Shadow Fight 2, released on PC, Switch, etc., is a simple fighting game with RPG elements and a continuation of the hit game from Facebook. The game was developed by Nekki, the creators of Vector, a critically acclaimed arcade game.
We play as a warrior who once became a true legend and nobody dared to stand in his way. While traveling the world in search of enemies, our protagonist once discovered the mysterious Gate of Shadows and, breaking the eternal laws, crossed it. The demons behind the gates took over his body and soul, transforming the great warrior into a shadow. Sentenced to eternal wandering, the hero decides, however, to face the demons that he has freed.
After basic training, which familiarizes us with combat mechanics, we participate in duels with opponents and more demanding bosses. We use the virtual analog stick to move and attack by pressing the buttons responsible for individual strikes, the effect of which changes depending on the current stance. That's not all, however, because the development of our hero's skills is an equally important element. As the game progresses, we unlock and learn a number of useful techniques and magical skills. We also have the opportunity to buy better weapons and armor, which significantly increase our chances of winning.
One of the advantages of Shadow Fight 2 is the original graphic design, which, as in Vector mentioned above, consists of colorful, hand-drawn sceneries and shadows depicting the characters. The soundtrack combining Far East motifs with rock music is equally interesting. Shadow Fight 2 was originally made available only to Windows 8.1 tablet and PC users and was released in the popular free-to-play model with optional microtransactions. However, the developers have later released a traditional and fully commercial version.
