Sir, You Are Being Hunted: Reinvented Edition is a remake of the 2014 first-person action game that is a parody of the world of British aristocracy. The project was part of Big Robot studio's plan to revamp the original by independent Dutch team Den of Thieves, alongside the first update to the original release of the title in eight years made available in September 2021.

Plot

Like the original, Sir, You Are Being Hunted: Reinvented Edition takes us to an alternate version of Britain, overrun by classy robots. These gentlemen indulge in the stereotypical activities of the British aristocracy, including smoking pipes, drinking tea and hunting. Here, however, the prey is not bears or wolves, but a much more dangerous beast - humans.

Mechanics

Sir, You Are Being Hunted: Reinvented Edition introduces a handful of changes from the original, but the basic gameplay structure remains unchanged. This title is a first person shooter (FPS) with an open, randomly generated world, in which mechanical gentlemen hunt us. In a direct confrontation, our plebeian hero does not stand much chance against the machine-like privileged class. It is therefore necessary to use tactics and stealth. The new perk system can also help in survival, although it is fully optional, as well as the upgraded game state saving system.

Technical aspects

The developers at Big Robot studio have created a new version of the game almost from scratch. Sir, You Are Being Hunted: Reinvented Edition thus offers a completely fresh audiovisual setting, with newly designed models, textures, etc. Also the interface has been improved in comparison to the original.
