The games from the Deluxe Ski Jump series became a phenomenon at the beginning of the 21st century, especially in countries like Poland. However, due to the limited reach of this phenomenon, not many developers later attempted to create virtual ski jumping games in a similar 2.5D format. In 2025, the Polish studio Storm Trident S.A. with publishing support from Forever Entertainment, developed Ski Jumping World Cup.

Gameplay

The gameplay in Ski Jumping World Cup does not differ much from what we are accustomed to with DSJ and other productions of this type. During the game we take control of a ski jumper and the action is seen from the side. We must control the athlete during the take-off, flight, and landing phases. The key to success is mastering the take-off technique, maintaining the athlete's stability in the air, and learning not only effective but also smooth landings.
