Slime Tactics is a tactical Japanese RPG in a fantasy climate. The player commands a group of funny creatures resembling balls of mucus, and the fun revolves around battles played with an extensive turn-based combat system.

A tactical turn-based jRPG with surprising plot. The game was developed by Altair Works. The player leads an uprising of slimes that usually serve as a cannon fodder in such games. Decimated creatures discovered that they can control human bodies and they intend to take advantage of this ability. The gameplay in Ambition of the Slimes focuses on turn-based battles that take place on a tactical map. The fights are strongly unusual due to the abilities of the slimes. The control over human warriors can work in various ways – some slimes increase the statistics of the bodies they control, other are able to teleport or take over even the strongest foes. This makes the battles very varied and frequently requiring a tactical approach.
