Space Hulk: Deathwing for PC, PS4 and XONE is another video game based on a classic 1989's board game created by Games Workshop and set in the world of Warhammer 40.000. The original Space Hulk board game received its re-edition twenty years after it was first released. Contrary to both the 1993's and 2013's adaptations representing the RPG and strategy genres (turn-based), Space Hulk: Deathwing is a full-fledged first person shooter based on the Games Workshop's license. The game was developed in cooperation of Cyanide (the Blood Bowl series) with Streum On Studio, popular mainly for E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy.

Plot

In Space Hulk: Deathwing for PC, PS4 and XONE, the player takes on the role of the titular Deathwing squad's member. It is a special group of space marines, whose job is to eliminate aliens known as Genestealers and liberate the legendary Space Hulk in so doing. The place is a space-junkyard made of shipwrecks, huge asteroids and other interstellar waste. However, mysterious artifacts and ancient technologies are hidden there as well. Those have become targets for desirous space pirates and the player's main enemy.
