A remake of the cult shoot'em upa from 1978, in which the player takes on the role of a spacecraft pilot and confronts the title invaders from space. The game developed by Taito Space Invaders Extreme draws on the scheme developed for the needs of the original, although the authors have enriched the whole with a few new solutions.
