Srututututut: Forgotten Foe is a proposal of an independent studio Desert Fox Software, founded by Robert Gasiorowski, addressed to board games enthusiasts, who are also familiar with dungeon crawler games.

The action of the game was set in the reality of fantasy. A character created by a player travels through fantastic lands in search of wealth, fame and adventure. As the game progresses, the hero gains more and more equipment and experience, which allows him to master new skills or improve his existing ones.

The game board has been divided into 64 fields including cities, forests, plains and deserts. Like traditional board games, the player's character moves by the number of fields according to the random result of a virtual dice throw. The available variants of actions (e.g. arena duel, exploration, extraction of valuable resources, visit to the church, execution of a part of the mission) depend not only on where the movement ends, but also on the profession of the hero (warrior, thief, archer, hunter, magician or priest) chosen at the start and the decisions taken earlier.

An important element of the mechanics of the game is combat. The duel mechanics is characterized by exceptional simplicity. The side who first manages to deprive the opponent of his life points wins the fight. Competitions with different types of opponents have a purely conventional formula, and the player's participation comes down to choosing the type of attack or a special skill. Interestingly, in most situations duels are not obligatory. To avoid confrontation, simply select another action option.

The game offers about 20 missions to complete and 3 fun modes: normal game (each mission the hero starts with 1 level of experience and basic equipment), character save (1 level of experience, but with previously acquired items) and free game (without missions, but with all skills and accessories unlocked).

Visual setting of Srutututututut: Forgotten Foe is based on two-dimensional graphics and very simple animations. The illustrations appearing in the game were made by hand, and the whole thing gives the impression of drawings from the school brulion.
