Release Date: 2026
A racing game set in the Star Wars universe, developed by Fuse Games - a studio founded by the co-creators of Burnout. In Star Wars: Galactic Racer, we compete in repulsor vehicle races, fighting for victory in singleplayer or multiplayer modes.
Fuse Games is a UK-based development studio established in 2023, founded partially by co-creators of the iconic Burnout series. The team started with a bang by creating a racing game set in the Star Wars universe. It is titled Star Wars: Galactic Racer and its publisher is Secret Mode company.
In Star Wars: Galactic Racer we take on the role of a pilot making a living and building a career by participating in repulsor vehicle races, organized as part of an unofficial series known as the Galactic League. These races are overseen by syndicates that sponsor racers and bet on the outcomes of the track duels.
During the game we sit behind the controls of a futuristic vehicle hovering above the ground, racing towards the finish line while skillfully navigating turns, avoiding obstacles scattered on the tracks, and trying to hinder opponents by bumping and pushing them off the course.
The game offers a variety of repulsor vehicles, differentiated by appearance, size, handling, and performance. We can modify these vehicles to our liking, allowing them to gradually build a machine tailored to our needs and preferences.
Star Wars: Galactic Racer can be played solo in a campaign where we assume the role of a lone racer known as Shade, as well as in a competitive multiplayer mode over the Internet.
Star Wars: Galactic Racer takes us to the Outer Rim of the Galaxy. The New Republic is still rebuilding, which results in lawlessness on the far edges of this part of space, making it a true mecca for gambling enthusiasts and other forms of entertainment for those hoping to get rich quickly.
