Star Wars Pinball is an arcade game produced by ZEN Studios. Players have a wide range of pinball tables to choose from, using different themes from different eras of the Star Wars universe.
Star Wars Pinball is an arcade game and an expanded version of the same title released in 2013. The players have the opportunity to play on virtual flippers. In this case, these are original tables created by the devs. All of them use motifs known from successive installments of Star Wars - films and TV shows. Nineteen pinballs inspired by different eras of the universe are at the player's disposal. ZEN Studios is responsible for the game.
Star Wars Pinball is played in the same way as other titles of the genre. The main task is to bounce the ball rolling on an inclined table in such a way that it does not fall into the hole in the lower part of the screen. This is done with flippers - metal paws that are the only element that the player controls. There are also additional elements on the table, which grant bonuses and lead to bonus areas.
In addition to the standard game, where we choose a specific table and play until we lose the ball, Star Wars Pinball also offers a career mode. This is a series of short challenges played on individual pinballs, which also includes mini-games such as a lightsaber duel with Darth Vader. In addition, for each completed task the player receives Holocron Shards. They can be purchased for additional capabilities that enable us to achieve higher results.
Star Wars Pinball focuses on details. The tables are made very carefully and each of them has a different style based on a different installments of Star Wars. In addition, they are surrounded by animated characters from the universe.
The soundtrack also remains true to the series. During the game, the players can hear the music themes known from Star Wars.

Star Wars has finally come to Nintendo Switch. While it might not be in the form that appeals to everyone, that doesn't make it any less accessible. With short and snappy missions, it's perfect for bursts of short play on a commute or longer sessions in search of high scores and holocron shards. Switch-exclusive features such as the Career mode, the updated Galactic Struggle, an unlockable soundtrack and support for vertical play make this a fine addition to the platform's growing pinball library, and a silly yet authentic ode to all things Star Wars.
