Knights of the Eternal Throne is another major DLC for a Star Wars MMORPG entitled Star Wars: The Old Republic released for PC in 2011. It was developed by BioWare, the creators of the vanilla game as well as such famous series as Baldur’s Gate, Dragon Age, and Mass Effect.

The expansion was announced in July 2016 during the annual Star Wars Celebration, a fan gathering of the cult science fiction saga. The said add-on is one of the biggest expansions in history of the title and its launch coincides with the fifth anniversary of its launch. Knights of the Eternal Throne offers another extensive story told in a narrative style typical of BioWare as well as entirely new, previously unavailable in-game possibilities.
