Yeah Us! is an independent British development studio, founded by Adam Hunt - a fan of high-performance cycling. As a developer, he specialized in creating arcade games dedicated to BMX, among which the Pumped BMX productions led the way. Streetdog BMX, described here at the time of its release, was the largest of his projects, and his sources of inspiration were the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX series.
In Streetdog BMX, the action is viewed from a third-person perspective (TPP). The gameplay takes place in locations with an open structure, which are teeming with ramps, jumps and barriers. In addition, in each of them we will find missions that involve performing specific actions and doing tricks indicated by the creator.
Speaking of bicycle tricks - they include barspin, crooked grind, crankflip or backflip, but also manual, fakie and icepick. The tricks are scored, and in order to maximize your score you need to smoothly combine them into impressive combinations. Of course, you have to be careful not to hit the ground and lose points from unsuccessful combos.
Streetdog BMX allows you to customize your character's appearance by changing his hairstyle and skin color, as well as shoes or clothes and tattoos. Things are similar with the BMX, whose components (from the frame to the chain) can be freely colored.
The graphic design of the Streetdog BMX game is kept in a style reminiscent of Fortnite, among others.
