Taxi Driver

Taxi Driver is a three-dimensional action game, created on the occasion of Martin Scorsese's thirtieth anniversary of the famous film of the same name with Robert DeNiro in the lead role. The developers decided to create a continuation of the plot of the movie, showing the future of Travis Bickle, a Vietnamese war veteran, working at night as a New York taxi driver and exploring the dark side of the largest agglomeration in the United States.

Mechanics

In terms of the gameplay, Taxi Driver resembles Grand Theft Auto series, because it allows you to move freely on foot or in a car and shoot with several types of weapons. The type of weaponry used determines the character's movement, for example, a shotgun limits mobility a little bit. According to plot, we open fire primarily towards various bandits, although innocent citizens can also be killed. Eliminating ordinary people does not alert the police, but it affects Bickle's mental health - the consistent murder of pedestrians ultimately leads to suicide.

Technical aspects

There game also features numerous side plots, as well as typical orders, resulting from the main character's profession. We have to drive our taxi car to earn money. The action is presented from the third person perspective with the use of refined graphics, and a suggestive soundtrack.
