The Darkside Detective for PC and SWITCH is a retro point-and-click adventure game developed by an independent studio Spooky Doorway. We play as a detective, Francis McQueen, who conducts police investigations and solves mysterious cases in the uncanny city of Twin Lakes.

Plot

At frst glance, Twin Lakes seems to be another one of the many suburban American cities, but first impressions may be deceiving. Twin Lakes is a place where two dimensions – our, and the one where evil dwells – intersect. People and objects disappear, portals to different realms pop-up from nowhere. The city is plagued by supernatural events. Most of the citizens, however, have no idea what actually happens there. They are protected by a special police department known as the Darkside Division. Francis McQueen works there and does his best to keep the folks of Twin Lakes safe and solve cases that may be connected to the mysterious dimension. Along with our partner, officer Dolley, we are the city’s first line of defense agains the darkness.
