The Entropy Centre Description
The Entropy Center is a first-person action adventure game with a lot of puzzles, sometimes also requiring quick reactions and dexterity. The earth is in flames, and we have to reverse the course of events with the help of a talking gun reversing objects in time. The title is the debut of the English studio Stubby Games, and its release was undertaken by Playstack.
Plot
A mysterious fateful event has left the entire Earth in flames. It seems that Aria, whom we play, waking up in the destroyed and abandoned Entropy Center located in the planet's orbit, is the last person alive, and it is on her to remedy the situation and discover what actually happened. To do so, she must reach the core of the Entropy Center by solving logic puzzles. The mental effort involved generates energy to power ASTRA, a state-of-the-art artificial intelligence-powered device capable of scanning the space-time chronology of objects and moving them through time (and quite talkative and gifted with a sense of humor).
Game mechanics
We experience the world from the first person perspective. We explore location after location and, with the help of ASTRA, solve puzzles that require moving cubic boxes and restoring elements of damaged infrastructure to their original state.. Sometimes it will be necessary to show dexterity - reacting quickly to danger or using pop-ups - but more emphasis is placed on thoughtful movements, placing objects in the right place, the correct sequence of actions.
