In 2023, a survival game titled The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria had its premiere. As the title suggests, it allowed us to take on the role of dwarves who returned to Khazad-dum to make it their home once again. Over the following months, the studio behind it, Free Range Games, worked on its development, preparing updates and content packs. Eventually, the creators decided to prepare the first major expansion, which they titled Durin’s Folk.

New features in the expansion

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria - Durin's Folk expands the endgame phase by introducing a new story chapter. Through it, we learn more about the dwarves of the Fourth Age of Middle-earth and get to know the Lord of Moria more closely.
