The Misadventures of Tron Bonne is a spin-off of the Mega Man Legends series, developed by Capcom. The development of the game was supervised by the creator of Mega Man series, Keiji Inafune.

Story

In The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, the players take on the role of the title Tron Bonne, whose brothers were kidnapped by Mr. Loath demanding a giant ransom for them. There is nothing left for the heroine but to get the money and save her family.

Mechanics

The heart of gameplay in The Misadventures of Tron Bonne is to undertake a variety of tasks. At the same time, the heroine is not alone in her quest. She has a large robot called Gustaff at her disposal, able to carry heavy and large objects; what's more, Tron can use the help of Servbots, i.e. small machines endowed with their own personality and individual abilities, to which we can assign specific goals - in this way they help the protagonist to raid the locations she visits, neutralize traps or eliminate enemies. The statistics of Servbots can be raised by taking them on missions (which improves their intelligence), and also by training them (which in turn affects their speed and attack strength) or torture (if they get lazy), which is presented in the form of mini-games; in this way, we also unlock their hidden talents.

In the course of the game we carry out missions consisting of moving boxes in the port (evoking associations with logic games), during which the action is shown from a camera suspended above Gustaff; when raiding dungeons, we have only the Servbots at our disposal, and observe the events from first-person perspective; we also explore the dangerous ruins of Nakkai, rob banks and work on the Sart farm, where the action is presented from a camera hanging behind Gustaff's back (TPP).

Technical aspects

Like in Mega Man Legends, The Misadventures of Tron Bonne features three-dimensional visuals; the bleakly colored ruins of Nakkai and the dungeons contrast with the shimmering colors of the surface.
