The Walking Dead: 400 Days is an add-on DLC for the first season of the episodic adventure games The Walking Dead from Telltale Games Studios.

The extension expands the game by one additional chapter. It concerns the first 400 days of the outbreak that has transformed most of the human population into bloodthirsty zombies. The events are shown from the perspective of five new characters, each with their own story, and you can choose the order in which you want to play them. However, they all are concentrated around the truck stop, next to the exit of one of the highways in the state of Georgia.

Like the original The Walking Dead game, 400 Days add-on is quite an untypical adventure game because of the small number of logic puzzles. There is but a handful of puzzles, and most of them are rather simple. Instead, the gameplay is mainly focused on exploration, conducting conversations, and making tough decisions that put the story on a chosen track. From time to time there are also simple action sequences. Interestingly, the decisions made in the standard version of The Walking Dead have an influence on the events in the expansion. In turn, the choices made in 400 Days shape some of the threads in the following installments of the series.
