The games feature almost the same gameplay as the originals, but their graphics were greatly refreshed.

A bundle of first three Crash Bandicoot games, remastered by Vicarious Visions studio. Aside from modern visuals, all games feature rebuilt levels, as well as a new save system, which lets us use every control point along with quick save option. What’s more, they've received an unified menu and a Time Trial mode. Like in originals, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy lets us take control of the titular bandicoot, who must stop the evil Dr Cortex from taking over the world. As the game is a classic three-dimensional platformer, gameplay focuses on completing linear levels, avoiding traps, and fighting enemies, which can be dealt with using a few attacks, like spinning or jumping on enemy’s head. We also collect Wumpa fruits that can earn us another life, as well as find secrets and collect Aku Aku masks that help us in our journey.

In the game one faces dozens of opponents and very challenging bosses by using traditional weapons and protagonist’s special abilities such as a temporary transformation into a demon. Devil May Cry HD Collection contains three first installments of the series. It offers remastered HD graphics and large set of achievements and trophies to unlock.

The story of the Metro series revolves around a youngster named Artem and presents a post-apocalyptic vision of the world in which the humanity fights for survival after a nuclear apocalypse. The action of Metro 2033 takes place in the tunnels of the Moscow subway that now shelters the survivors from dangerous mutants. In the sequel, we abandon the underground tunnels to explore the open spaces of the ruined city. Due to the gameplay enhancements, the game now offers a multiplayer mode. Both titles in the bundle are almost identical to the original ones and any changes involve mainly improved graphics.

The refreshed versions were created by Virtuos, a company which previously created other remastered games. Batman: Return to Arkham consists of two games: Batman: Arkham Asylum from 2009 and Batman: Arkham City from 2011. The first title takes place in a mental facility taken over by Joker and other villains. The second part takes place in an isolated district in which especially dangerous criminals were locked. Both games have open locations and action-based mechanics. What’s characteristic for the series is spectacular combat based on combo system – the longer the series of attacks, the stronger the hero’s hits. Batman also has access to technologically advanced gadgets which are used not only for combat, but for traveling through the game world and for solving riddles as well. The games featured in Batman: Return to Arkham compilation offer improved graphics powered by Unreal Engine 4.

The players have to perform a number of story and side missions, during which they explore interesting locations, fight enemies using futuristic firearms, and collect increasingly powerful battle gear. Each title offers four unique heroes of different specializations and abilities. With time, the player’s character gathers experience and, with it, new skills. Borderlands: The Handsome Collection features enhanced graphics and smoother animation. Additionally, it expands the cooperation mode for up to four players.

For the purposes of Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection, every aforementioned title was visually enhanced — the most important change is rising the screen resolution to 1080p but some textures and character models were improved, too. While multiplayer modes were deleted, all expansions and DLCs for the single player campaigns were preserved.

All three games feature an adventurer named Nathan Drake as the main protagonist, who travels to many exotic places in search of the legacy left by his ancestor (Drake’s Fortune), a legendary artifact (Among Thieves), and finally, the lost city of Ubar (Drake’s Deception). The gameplay features third person perspective and mechanics similar to Tomb Raider franchise. The bundle offers enhanced graphics, upgraded to 1080p resolution and 60 FPS, as well as many better textures, models, and an enhanced lighting system. Unfortunately, the games lack multiplayer modes included in the original releases.

Homeworld Remastered Collection is a remastered edition of the space strategy that wast first developed in 1999 by Relic Entertainment. The game was rejuvenated by Gearbox Software, studio known for the game series Borderlands and Brothers in Arms. We follow the history of Kushan, a forgotten race that was attacked by an alien civilization and almost entirely wiped out. However, over six hundred thousand of Kushans survived in the hypersleep chambers of a gigantic Mothership. They decided to rebuild their civilization and face the old enemy. In terms of mechanics, Homeworld Remastered Collection is a classic real-time strategy game that takes place in 3D rendered space. In the new version of the game, visuals were significantly improved (now the game uses HD textures). Cutscenes were also redrawn. Multiplayer mode was improved, and the game's OST was remastered under the watchful eye of its composer.

The series takes place in a world that is a combination of feudal Japan, magical fantasy and modern technologies where one of the most important roles in shaping the geopolitical situation belongs to villages that train ninja warriors who are later rented out for money. All three games in the collection have the same basics and the goal of the games is to fight with other warriors that have their own fighting style and unique special attacks. However, all titles are thoroughly remastered and thanks to that they offer a smoother animation, better anti-aliasing and a higher resolution.

In both games, apart from the protagonist — the teenage wizard — you meet many characters from the books and movies, both his friends and enemies, including the nefarious Lord Voldemort. Both parts of LEGO Harry Potter Collection feature improved visuals, introducing e.g. enhanced lighting and new special effects. The set also includes two expansions: Spell Pack, which adds five unique spells, and Character Pack, adding 10 previously unavailable characters.
