The Wizards: Dark Times PC

The Wizards - Dark Times is the second installment of an action adventure game in which, as a magician, we travel through a fantastic world full of monsters and strange abominations. Carbon studio is again responsible for the game created for virtual reality.

Plot

Meliora is a world attacked by a mysterious plague, as a result of which its inhabitants are transformed into scary creatures with burning hatred and bloodlust. Playing the role of a magician, we travel through this hostile world and cleanse it of dangerous creatures accompanied by the voice of Aurelisua, a sarcastic narrator.

Mechanics

The Wizards - Dark Times is a first-person action game focused on killing multiple enemies with a variety of spells. In the game we learn about the fate of the world, exploring poisonous swamps, cursed forests, or the ruins of the Necropolis, where we come across giant beasts, toxic mushrooms and other abominations. During the game, we learn 11 spells, varying in effect and power, such as turning an enemy into an ice crystal, calling a magic barrier in the form of a shield, throwing a chain of lightning and others. Using them requires us to make a specific gesture with our hands, rather than pressing a combination of several keys. And so, in the fervour of the fight, we'll have to spin the wheels and wave our hands in all directions.

In The Wizards - Dark Times there is also place for other elements of gameplay than dynamic battles with enemies. We have to interact with the mass of objects, solve mini-environmental puzzles and more, weigh potions in a big boiler and more.

Game modes

In addition to the main campaign, the game also offers additional modes, such as survival, in which we face our enemies, wave by wave to see how long we can defend ourselves; arena mode, which is a sandbox generated on the basis of our own gameplay preferences; hardcore mode, in which the points of life do not regenerate and you will not find checkpoints, and newgame , for ready to experience the campaign adventure once again, but with a more twisted horizontal difficulty.

The Wizards - Dark Times is a three-dimensional production, fully designed for VR gameplay, set in a fantastic world with varied and detailed locations.
