Thunder Ray

Thunder Ray is an indie boxing action game reminiscent of Punch-Out!!, a series originating from arcades and the NES. It was developed by Purple Tree.

Plot

The main protagonist of Thunder Ray is the greatest boxer in the world. One day, he's abducted by the Galactic Boxing Federation to participate in a galactic tournament. Seeking challenge, he accepts and joins the competition to prove himself the greatest fighter in the universe.

Mechanics

Thunder Ray is a third-person game, most of the gameplay revolving around fast-paced fights. Players must chain jabs, hooks and uppercuts into powerful combos and use special skills, which can turn the tide of battle if used correctly.

We must also exhibit good reflexes, dodging and predicting our opponents' attacks to counter them. We'll face many outlandish, diverse foes on the way to galactic domination, each with unique movesets, strengths and weaknesses.

Thunder Ray features a colorful, cartoonish artstyle.
