An action-adventure game developed for the Oculus Rift virtual reality set. Time Machine VR was developed by independent studio Minority Media, the creators of Papo & Yo. In the game the player goes back in time to the prehistoric era and is given an opportunity to watch dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals in their natural habitat – large valleys and ocean deeps.

Time Machine VR is an action-adventure game developed for augmented reality sets in which the player goes back in time to the prehistoric age in order to examine the ancient ecosystem. The game was developed by independent studio Minority Media – the creators of well received game Papo & Yo. The game is exclusively compatible with Oculus Rift virtual reality set.

Plot

The story of the game starts in year 2033. The player assumes the role of a new employee of an extraordinary museum of natural history called Monda Muzeo that is located 250 miles underground. The museum that is a form of a testament of humanity gathers all information related to history of Earth. It uses the newest technologies for that purpose – including time travel. The player’s objective is to create the most precise record of prehistory. If the mission success, the player will become the first man in history who encountered prehistoric animals in their natural habitat.
