Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

A bundle of first three Crash Bandicoot games, remastered by Vicarious Visions studio. Aside from modern visuals, all games feature rebuilt levels, as well as a new save system, which lets us use every control point along with quick save option. What’s more, they've received an unified menu and a Time Trial mode. Like in originals, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy lets us take control of the titular bandicoot, who must stop the evil Dr Cortex from taking over the world. As the game is a classic three-dimensional platformer, gameplay focuses on completing linear levels, avoiding traps, and fighting enemies, which can be dealt with using a few attacks, like spinning or jumping on enemy’s head. We also collect Wumpa fruits that can earn us another life, as well as find secrets and collect Aku Aku masks that help us in our journey.

An episodic adventure game created by the developers of Remember Me, a French studio DONTNOD. The game bears a resemblance to Telltale Games titles. Its protagonist is a 12th grade student named Max Caulfield, who returns to her home town in Oregon after years of absence. Together with her old friend she tries to solve the mysterious disappearance of her schoolmate, which prompts a series of strange events. The story is the essential part for the game, whereas gameplay mechanics are based on the well-proven formula employed by Telltale, which combines free exploration and difficult choices with non-obvious consequences. An interesting addition to the gameplay is the fact that Max possesses the power to manipulate time, allowing you to experience another version of events without having to restart an entire episode. On the technical side, the game is well-designed and well-executed, featuring expressive, slightly cartoonish graphics.

A dynamic, third-person action game, featuring a science-fiction setting inspired by modern theories about time travel. This title is the first next-gen production from Finnish studio Remedy Entertainment, best known for the Max Payne series and Alan Wake. Set in the near future, the story is split into TV-like episodes. The player's point of view alternates between three characters who, as a result of a failed time-travel experiment, gain different time-based abilities. Now, two of them have to fight against the third one to prevent the world, now plagued by strange anomalies resulting from the failed experiment, from ending. The game's impressive visuals are powered by the proprietary Northlight Engine, tailored for the eight generation consoles.

The player must go back in time and change the course of events to discover a sequence that will save all victims.

The fourth installment in the comedy adventure game series initially planned as a trilogy. however, under the pressure of fan expectations, the creators from Daedalic Entertainment decided to create one more entry in the franchise. Deponia Doomsday continues the story of Rufus, who had a vision of a disaster striking the idyllic floating city of Elysium and his home, garbage heap-planet Deponia. Once he woke up from his nightmare, he decided to do everything he can in order to prevent the cataclysm from happening. He asks professor McChronicle for help and by using his time machine he sets out on a crazy journey in time and space. When it comes to gameplay mechanics, the game does not differ from the previous parts and concentrates on exploration, dialogues with NPCs, and puzzle solving. Even though Deponia Doomsday was released several years after the third part of the game, the visuals look very much the same, once again utilizing the series' distinctive style.

A remastered edition of a classic adventure game created by LucasArts in 1993. That game, along with its sequel, Maniac Mansion, became famous as the grandfather of modern adventure games. The Remastered Edition was prepared by Double Fine Productions, a studio founded by Tim Schafer – one of the co-creators of the original hit. In the game you play as a trio of heroes who are trying to save the world from a threat posed by the titular tentacle. After coming into contact with an unknown substance it acquired consciousness and high intelligence. The only salvation seems to be traveling back in time in order to prevent the tentacle from being born. However, after the time machine malfunctions, the situation gets more complicated, as the heroes get trapped in three different historical periods. The creators made sure that the new edition was faithful to the original ideas, offering as much absurd humor as the original and the unique 2D visuals that are reminiscent of classic cartoons by Warner Bros.

A science-fiction action game played from the first-person view and created by Raven Software - an experienced developer popular mainly for series such as Hexen, Heretic, Soldier of Fortune, or the latest installments in both the Quake and the Wolfenstein series. The player assumes the role of an American soldier sent on a mission to investigate a mysterious, post-Soviet island. It turns out that the place is constantly traveling in time as a result of mysterious forces affecting it. The unsuccessful Soviet experiment that is at the bottom of this situation was supposed to change the course of the Cold War. The game is based on the classic formula enriched with original time-traveling elements. The players have the Time Manipulation Device at their disposal and thus they can make objects and enemies either younger or older at will. This allows the player to recapture a moment when a bridge was in one piece for example. More than once, the player has to travel back in time in order to affect the present timeline and make a progress in the story by doing so.

The action of The Sexy Brutale takes place inside an old English mansion transformed into a casino by the mysterious Marquis. One day, its workers murder all the guests. However, the player gets the chance to save them. You assume the role of a priest named Lafcadio Boone who – just like in the movie Groundhog Day – falls into a time loop and relives the day of the murder again and again. Primarily, the title focuses on investigating each homicide and figuring out how to prevent it. To do that, you will have to explore, chat, solve mysteries, and face occasional stealth challenges. Advanced AI deserves special recognition as it simulates the way the guests live and react.

A retro-styled action-adventure game featuring RPG elements, created in cooperation by Fourattic and Devolver Digital. The story is set in California, in the year 1986, where a bunch of kids playing in the forest discover a mysterious artifact which allows them to bend the laws of physics and travel across the border between life and death. The unsuspecting characters are thrown into the midst of a government conspiracy led by a ruthless general who wishes to acquire the artifact for his evil purposes. The player observes the levels from above. The gameplay consists mainly of exploration, combat, treasure hunting, and puzzle solving. In the game, the player will have the opportunity to take control of five characters in total - each has their own different skills. The biggest feature of the story comes with the time travels, during which the player encounters hundreds of characters from different historical periods. The game is enriched with cutscenes that bear a resemblance to cartoons from the 80s.
