Tiny Thief is a 2D stealth production enriched with some logic games elements. It was developed by 5 Ants and published by Rovio, known for the Angry Birds series.
The protagonist of Tiny Thief is a young thief who tries to make a living in medieval towns and villages. To do so, he has to steal valuables and remain undetected. The campaign is divided into five chapters, each taking place in a different location. In total, the game offers 25 levels that can be completed in various ways. The players may hide in chests and cabinets, climb masts, walk on ropes and jump on chandeliers, among other things. Using all opportunities provided by a given level is key to survival because the thief is completely defenseless, even one guardsman can easily slay him.
Tiny Thief puts a great emphasis on puzzles resembling those from adventure games. There are dozens of interactive objects on every map, and our task is to figure out how to use them effectively. For example: activating a cuckoo clock will cause a householder to run to silence it, which gives us a few moments to ransack his bedroom.
Graphics are Tiny Thief’s strong point. They present a cartoon style – the maps are very colorful, while characters have likeable, grotesque shapes.
