Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Predator is another installment in a popular game series, in which you take control over members of “Ghosts” squad, and together with fellow soldiers take part in military operations. The game was designed by Ubisoft Studio, who had created a number of previous editions of the series.
Together with a several-people squad of “Ghosts” you are sent to Sri Lanka jungle, where you have 72 hours to secure the territory where the American Army is supposed to land. You engage in a direct conflict with Pakistanis, only to find out you were just a puppet in the hands of a foreign intelligence, who want to implicate the USA into another war. Your objective becomes to clear things up and somehow avoid an unnecessary conflict with Pakistan. The story sports many complex political plots, hallmarks of games signed with Tom Clancy’s name.
You can complete every mission either by stealthily eliminating enemies or engaging into straightforward exchanges of fire. As always, both scouting and combat is supported by modern technologies – you can send a recon drone to scout the area, take advantage of aerial support, or use prototypical weapons. In time, you also gain experience points, which you can spend on developing skills of your squad members.
Multiplayer is the game’s strong point. Up to three people can play together in co-op mode. Cooperation with living players makes it possible to perform elaborate eliminations of enemies. You can play via ad-hoc mode, connecting with nearby PSP owners.
The graphics looks similar as in PSP version of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2. Battles are fought in various settings. The game features an easy-to-use, intuitive, clear user’s interface.
