Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 is another installment in the popular series of sports games about incredible skateboard stunts and evolutions. The gameplay premises remain the same, although the developers have introduced numerous enhancements in graphics, sound effects, and game modes.

We can perform numerous evolution in huge, dynamic environments on the streets of big cities, at the airport hall, in suburbia, or in various skate parks. In total, there are six playable locations: Skater's Island, Rio de Janeiro, Los Angeles, Canada, Tokyo, and Paris.

Another novelty is the possibility of creating your own skate parks with all sorts of ramps, half-pipes, handrails or walls. Furthermore, we can create our own skaters, too, with an big variety of traits and appearance options (glasses, hairstyles, tattoos, etc.) available. Of course, we might as well use some of the most famous personae in skateboarding, such as Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, Rune Glifberg, Eric Koston, Bucky Lasek, Rodney Mullen, Chad Muska, Andrew Reynolds, Geoff Rowley, Elissa Steamer, or Jamie Thomas.
