The core activity of the Polish team Madmind Studio is creating brutal productions that spark controversy, such as the survival horror titled Agony Unrated and the slasher titled Succubus. This group also includes the game Tormentor, which is an action game allowing us to take on the role of the titular character.

Gameplay

In Tormentor events are viewed from a third-person perspective (TPP).

Hunting for victims

During the game we are locked in an abandoned prison, and our main goal is to hunt down convicts. Since our victims are under death sentences for crimes they have committed (which we learn about by reviewing their notes and emails), after capturing each one, we must force them to confess to their crimes. We can achieve this by doing what the game's title suggests, which is beating and torturing our victims in various ways.

Blood money

Our actions are broadcast live on the so-called Darknet, and to make them more "attractive" to viewers, we arm the prisoners and engage in a sort of cat-and-mouse game with them. The effectiveness of our actions is measured by donations from viewers and new victims provided by sponsors. The funds collected can be used to purchase medicine for the protagonist and to upgrade the prison.

Brutality

The game is exceptionally bloody, which, combined with nudity, makes it intended exclusively for adult audiences.
