Transformers: Galactic Trials is a production that combines action and racing games. It was developed by the 3DClouds studio, which has in its portfolio genre-related projects such as Fast & Furious: Spy Racers - Rise of the Shifter or Paw Patrol: Grand Prix.

The game is based on the license of the cult brand Transformers, launched by Hasbro in 1984, which has been used in the past for movies and animated series, books and comics, as well as numerous video games.

Plot

Transformers: Galactic Trials takes us to a sci-fi universe, torn by the war between Autobots and Decepticons. They're the two opposing factions in Transformers universe - powerful, shape-shifting machines from the planet Cybertron. When the sinister Nemesis Prime steals powerful artifacts known as Prime Relics, both groups pursue them to ensure victory in the conflict. Gameplay

Transformers: Galactic Trials gives us a number of Transformers that change into various vehicles. Among the available Autobots in the game, we can find Bumblebee, Elite-1, or Optimus Prime, while the Decepticons are represented by Megatron for example.

The gameplay is a mixture of spectacular action and competition on the track. During the game we watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP) and participate in spectacular races in the form of vehicles, trying to cross the finish line in first place. Meanwhile, after transforming into a walking robot, we jump on platforms and engage in fierce battles with enemies.

On the way, we collect relics that serve us both to unlock new Transformers and to upgrade the ones we already have. Thanks to the relics we also gain access to original skins.

Game modes

In Transformers: Galactic Trials we can play alone or in local multiplayer mode. Apart from the titular Galactic Trials, where we single-handedly fight our way through successive stages and collect artifacts, we also have at our disposal an Arcade module, which allows us to have fun on a split screen in the company of another person.
