A fighting game with unique visuals inspired by Japanese paintings. The title of Two Strikes tells a lot about its gameplay - only two hits separate us (and our enemies) from being defeated. We can parry attacks, dodge and launch precise strikes. There are various fighters available, including a samurai, a bandit or a monk.

Two Strikes is a fighting game with a unique setting, set in a world inspired by Japanese history. It was developed by the independent Spanish studio Retro Reactor, which has a similar genre and theme project One Strike in its portfolio.

Gameplay

In Two Strikes we take control of characters that vary in terms of strengths and weaknesses, available attacks, and preferred weapons, which in turn determines their fighting style. We were given access to fighters such as a samurai, a warrior monk or a brave bandit.

As warriors, we participate in side-view battles in arenas, during which only two accurate attacks separate us (and our opponents) from death. For this reason, we must demonstrate agility and reflexes, skillfully parrying blows and looking for gaps in the opponent's defense (somewhat anticipating their moves), trying to deliver precise and deadly hits.
