Uninvited is a FPP horror game in which we explore a gloomy mansion in search of hidden cards. The house is patrolled by a supernatural wraith, which cannot be fought in any way, so the player must avoid detection and, if necessary, escape.
Uninvited is a horror action adventure game. It was developed by Octavi Navarro, a creator of many experimental horror games, such as The Librarian or Midnight Scenes: The Nanny.
The player takes on the role of one of a group of friends who have taken on an unusual challenge. Each of them must go to an abandoned mansion and find the cards hidden inside. The house is bathed in darkness, and the only source of light is a jar of captured skylights.
The problem is that the mansion is not really abandoned. Its interior has been occupied by a supernatural creature that will turn a simple thrill challenge into a real hell.
In Uninvited we observe events from a first-person perspective. Our task is to search the house in order to find all the cards. It's not easy, because many of them have been hidden, and getting them requires clever use of interactive objects that can be found in the environment.
The game is made difficult by a supernatural creature patrolling the interior of the mansion. The player can' t fight this ghoul in any way. Therefore, he has to avoid detection, and when it fails - to save himself by escaping. An additional problem is the fact that the house is bathed in darkness, and the jar of lights illuminates only a small area around us.
Uninvited offers only single player mode.
The game features atmospheric graphics, with a skillful combination of 3D locations and pixel art elements.
