Unlucky Seven is an adventure game, developed by an independent Polish studio Puzzling Dream, which has in its portfolio warmly welcomed The Way. The source of inspiration for the artists were cult slasher horror films, productions of the likes of Telltale Games, Life is Strange and Oxenfree.
Unlucky Seven tells the story of a group of alcohol addicts, anthropomorphic animals. Instead of going to the Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, the protagonists went to a birthday party at a luxury motel where cannibalism is the order of the day. It's up to us how they're going to go about their lives.
In Unlucky Seven, the action was shown from the side. As we play, we take control of each of the seven heroes, including the crocodile Robert and the cat Moreau. The protagonists are mainly engaged in conversation and solving various environmental puzzles. As we progress, we gradually learn about each of them, their purposes and desires. Based on the latter, we make decisions that influence the course of the story: mainly who we eat for the next meal and who we save at a given moment.
Unlucky Seven is based on Unity technology and has colorful and detailed graphics made in pixel art technology. Due to the fact that this production does not lack macabre scenes, it is intended for adult consumers.
