Blacksad: Under the Skin is a game developed by the Spanish Pendulo Studios team, which is well-known amongst point-and-click adventure fans, that was developed for the PC, XONE, etc. and tells the story of one of the adventures of the anthropomorphic black cat, the protagonist of the comic series titled Blacksad. Its creators are the Iberian artists Juan Diaz Canales and Juanjo Guarnido, who brought their hero to life in 2000 through the Dargaud publisher located in Paris.

Story

Detective John Blacksad is assigned the task of finding the perpetrator of the death of Joe Dunn, the owner of a boxing club in New York. The victim was hanged, and at the same time as the murder took place, the greatest protégé of the club, Robert Yale, the hope of boxing, has also disappeared. Blacksad's client is Dunn's daughter, Sonia, who, since her father's death, has had to struggle with the club's financial problems. Meanwhile, the boxing match of the year is about to take place. In order to solve the riddle, the main character must immerse himself in the very heart of the corrupt and ruthless underworld that governs this sport.
