VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action is an unusual game that enables us to play the role of.... a bartender working in a cyberpunk city. The game was created by an independent studio Sukeban Games and released by Ysbryd Games and AGM PLAYISM.
The action takes place in a corporate-ruled, cyberpunk world, where all people have nano-machines implanted in their bodies, designed as a tool of oppression, and the terrible White Knights scare the streets, forcing them to obey the law. The player takes on the role of a bartender working in the "VA-11 HALL-A" bar in one of the cities - Glitch City. This unique place, called "Valhalla" by the visitors, attracts a whole range of unique, fascinating characters - each of them has a story to tell, which they are happy to share with a kind bartender.
VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action is a game focused on dialogues and storytelling. Although we can't choose dialogue options, the game skillfully presents us with personal stories of the bar's visitors. Everything matters, every word is an element of a larger whole - a great scenario, which is the cornerstone of the game. The player can also influence the story through a choice of drinks served to guests.
VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action features two-dimensional visuals, clearly stylized on games known from the early 90s. The graphics are enriched by hand-drawn, manga sprites of the characters.
