Veterans Online

Veterans is an old-school isometric shooter in MOBA convention that focuses on multiplayer mode. It is a debut of Tunisian studio Nuked Cockroach and has been released on PC in free-to-play business model with optional microtransactions that, however, don’t give and edge over other players.

Game mechanics

Veterans for PC offers no story at all, concentrating on PvP skirmishes in one of a few modes for individual or team competition. It combines classic shooters like Commando, Ikari Warriors and Cannon Fodder series with RPG (character development system) and MOBA titles’ features.

We play as the titular veterans and fight on 30 different battlefields using a rather vast arsenal of weapons, combat vehicles and useful gadgets. Games are dynamic, but they also require some tactical thinking. This is complemented by character development system, typical for online games. We can modify various statistics of our hero and his equipment as we progress through the game. We also unlock a vast array of special skills that let us customize our play style.
