Waddle Home Description
Waddle Home, released on PC and PS4 is a logical game in the style of Lemmings series popular in the 90s. The game requires virtual reality goggles. The production was developed by an independent Archiact Interactive.
Mechanics
In Waddle Home, we play the role of an alien, whose task is to lead a group of penguins through three-dimensional levels. The game has been divided into forty stages, filled with various traps, chasms, and other obstacles. The boards can be freely rotated to show the penguins the best way. The animals can only move forward, turning only when they bounce off a wall. Each level has a time limit.
During the game, we can freely look around the environment by moving our heads and interact with the environment by using motion controllers - this is how we get rid of dangers and open blocked passages.
Technical aspects
Waddle Home on the PS4 and PC platforms is characterized by decent graphics, and the charming cartoon design and rich color palette make a positive impression. The game requires virtual reality goggles and dedicated motion controllers.
