Steam
A humorous logic game in which our main job is to wait for something to happen. While Waiting doesn't want us to be idle during the wait. We can find ways to occupy our time, like interact with the environment or look for surprises, many of which add the comedic character to the game.
While Waiting is a humorous logic game, dedicated to the theme of patience and anticipation. It was developed by the independent studio Optillusion, which has in its portfolio a similar genre project Moncage.
Gameplay
In While Waiting, we most often watch the action from the side (although there are situations where the camera changes perspective, for example to third-person). The game was divided into missions, each of which presents a different real-life situation, forcing our character to wait. This includes situations like waiting for the arrival of a bus, renewing action points in a mobile game, the possibility of getting on a Ferris wheel in an amusement park, or even waiting for the first "like" under a new post on a social networking site.
Even though nothing can shorten the waiting time for the finale of each of these scenarios, there are ways to add some variety to each of these activities. On each board, there are elements with which we can interact, turning seemingly boring waiting into a hunt for surprises, many of which give individual scenes a comedic character.
Graphics
The two-dimensional graphics of While Waiting are maintained in a simple, cartoonish style.
