Zelter

Mechanics

In Zelter, we observe the world of the game from above ( top-down perspective). The gameplay is about exploring the locations, fighting zombies (in battles it is mainly dexterity that counts) and acquiring various useful items, such as food, weapons, ammunition or ingredients used in the crafting system.

In the course of the game we recruit more people to our group - we can give them orders by delegating them to specific activities. We are also gradually building and improving the base in which we are definitely most secure. The zombies horde, which remains a constant threat, must be considered at all times.

Game modes

In Zelter we can only play alone. The core of the game is the single player mode.

Technical aspects

Zelter two-dimensional graphic design presents a decent level, despite its relative simplicity. The graphics is inspired by retro games, but enriched with several new features, such as more advanced animations, a shadow system or light effects accompanying shots and explosions. The colourful, manga-like artistic style also attracts attention, which is slightly different from the seemingly serious theme of the game.
