Below, you can find a description of all the important choices in Episode 2.
Important choice #1
First important choice comes up in Chapter 2. Rocket will tell you that he would like to use the acquired artifact to bring a person close to him back to life. He will ask you to set off at one, and you have to decide:
- Sure, we'll go right away
- No, I need to find Nebula first
Commentary: This choice is not that significant - you simply chose which stage of the episode you play first. The only difference is the relation between Gamora and Rocket - depending on your choice, they are going to be more or less snapping toward each other.
Important choice #2
The second important choice occurs at the end of Rocket's retrospection. You have to decide whether you want to honor Lylla's wish and escape on your own or carry her outside:
- Honor her wish: escape alone
- Carry Lylla out of the lab - Rocket carries Lylla out of the laboratory; she dies free.
Commentary: This choice is not that significant in this episode. When you decide to carry Lylla outside the lab, Rocket feels less guilty.
Important choice #3
The third important choice occurs in Chapter 5. You have to choose who is going to guard Nebula.
- Drax guards Nebula
- Gamora guards Nebula
Commentary: This choice is of little importance. The options differ from one another in terms of the available dialogs - additionally, the member of the crew you choose will be absent in the temple.
Important choice #4
This choice occurs in Chapter 6. Rocket is heartbroken because he is unable to fix the glove reminding him of Lylla. You can comfort your friend and advise him what he should do:
- Hold on her - Tell Rocket to keep the glove and cherish the memory of Lylla.
- Time to let go - Tell Rocket he should forget Lylla.
Commentary: In this episode, this choice is of little importance. It might be much more significant in the later episodes.
Important choice #5
The last choice occurs at the end of Chapter 6 when the Guardian's ship falls under enemies' attack. You can free Nebula and allow her to help you fight the Kree:
- Keep Nebula locked up
- Free her so she can help
Commentary: In this chapter, this choice is of little importance. If you set her free she will be present during the following sequences of the action. Additionally, you will improve your relations with her, which might matter in the episodes to come.
