Shadow of War: Knife in the Dark - Walkthrough

Quests: Shelob

Main objective: Stop the Assassin that wants to kill Idril and Castamir.

Olog-hai are powerful but you can, e.g. slide between their legs.

1. The mission starts with a presentation and a fight with a new enemy type, Olog-hai. These powerful war trolls are resistant to attacks and require a little bit different tactic. The best way to deal with them is to press buttons that are presented on the screen which allows you to slide between their legs and stun them in a right moment. You can also climb on their back and attack them with your dagger which also allows you to control the enemy.
2. After that... Gollum will appear! The iconic character tells you that he can lead you to an Assassin. You must follow the new ally. While you are on your way, you will come across a few orcs. However, you can easily avoid fights.

Shoot down the Morgai Fly Nest.

1. You finally reach the nest of the spider-woman. She shows Talion a vision that depicts an Assassin. Then, you must follow Gollum until you reach 4 orcs. Aim at the Morgai Fly Nest hanging above them and shoot it down to neutralize the threat. Remember that trick - there are multiple occasions in the game that allow you to use environmental objects to your advantage.
2. Then, you must approach the first victim of the Assassin. You are on the right track so follow Gollum. Reach the marker. There, you must activate the Wraith World and follow the tracks on the ground.

Jump down on the Olog-hai and defeat the rest of the orcs.

1. While you are on your way, you can safely eliminate single orcs. Soon, you reach the second victim of the Assassin. Go back to Gollum and continue your journey. When you reach a gate, you will notice a guard patrol with an Olog-hai. Climb on the gate and jump down on him to make the fight easier. Then, you must follow your companion until you reach a small orc camp.
2. Activate the Wraith World and follow new tracks. This time, you reach the Assassin's victim that is alive. Dominate it and use it to reveal secrets of the Assassin that you are looking for.

Use Morgai Flies to make the fight with the captain easier.

1. You now have to go to the Assassin and neutralize him. If you want to make this fight easier, you can shoot down a Morgai Fly Nest. The enemy is afraid of them. This dazes him which makes this fight to be a piece of cake. His death marks the end of this mission.
