Shadow of War: The Best Defense - Walkthrough

Main objective: defend the fortress from Sauron's army.

Enemies will also scale up the walls.

1. Sauron's army wants to seize your fortress. It is time to defend it! First, you will notice orc forces commanded by a single Captain. The threat is not too high and you can easily hop over the walls to play around with the enemies. Your allies will be fighting the enemy troops for the whole time, so this should not be too problematic.
2. Once you have defeated the Captain, another two enemy commanders will appear. The tactic remains the same, although the enemies have already managed to force the main gate open, or have climbed up the walls and entered the main court. Join your Captains and fight the enemy.

Seize the points one after another.

1. After you have defeated the two Captains, three more will appear. Try to focus on a single enemy and eliminate him quickly. If any of your Captains is defeated in the battle, he will drop down and you will be able to heal him.
2. It is virtually impossible to lose the mission. But the successive waves, it will not be getting easier - if the enemy manages to seize any of the points, reinforcements of at least one Captain will arrive. Always try to keep the best units in your army, because defense is more difficult than offense.
3. Always remember to recruit Captains for onslaught and defense. Although this one in particular is a relatively easy defense, the ones to come will be much more difficult. Dominate the strong orcs and always have them remain in the battlefield to join your army.

After the battle, you will watch a cutscene, in which the loyal Bruz shows his true colors and the fortress will be seized by the enemy.
