With split-screen, players don't connect to a network - local or online - because multiplayer play takes place on a single console or computer. Two or more players - usually a maximum of four - play at the same time, with each player having their own individual piece of screen on a TV or monitor. Original, two-dimensional side-scrolling arcade game, which is a debut production of independent Finnish studio Frogmind. In Badland we take control over unspecified creature and our task is to lead it through levels filled with various obstacles and traps. However, the game is complicated by the fact that we are gradually joined by more of our hero's brethren, so as the game progresses we are forced to control more and more creatures.
