Content Warning is an action game with horror elements from an FPP perspective. The title focuses on cooperation with other players and brings in mind Lethal Company. In it, gamers take on the role of spooktubers, going to scary and abandoned places to record creepy footage and earn funds for further expeditions. For this, of course, proper equipment comes in handy. The problem is that some people can't interact with items such as flashlights or cameras, which significantly hinders earning money and having fun. In our guide we will explain how to fix this bug.

Content Warning – How to Fix Can’t Pick Up Items Bug?

When playing Content Warning, many players have trouble picking up objects. Using the flashlight or camera is significantly hindered and sometimes impossible to do.

This bug often affects people who play on Macs, which is not officially supported. Nevertheless, it sometimes happens that even players using Windows PCs encounter this bug.

What can be done about it in such a case, except waiting for an update from the developers? Run the game as an administrator. To do this:

  1. Right-click on Content Warning in your Steam library,
  2. Select Manage and then Browse Local Files,
  3. Find the Content Warning.exe file, right-click on it and select Run as Administrator.

This solution should help with the problem regarding picking up items, at least for now. Developers know about the bug. Let's hope that they will resolve this quickly in upcoming patches. However, there are more issues to deal with.
