As announced, Behaviour Interactive has provided more information about the Alien DLC for Dead by Daylight. In fact, it revealed its release date - the DLC will come out on August 29, this year - and shared a very atmospheric trailer.

Players can look forward to a new killer (Xenomorph), a survivor (Ellen Ripley) and a map (Nostromo Wreckage). In addition, patch numbered 7.2.0 hit the PTB today, details of which can be found here.

Original news (August 4)

It's been more than 7 years since the launch of Dead by Daylight, but the developers from Behaviour Interactive are still busy making sure to provide their fans with fresh content. As proof that these are not just empty words, the world's most famous murderous extraterrestrial will soon be added to the game - Alien. The information was accompanied by relevant video.

Unfortunately, the developers did not reveal any additional information about the new addition. We will receive more details on August 8.

Great explosion of joy

The presence of the xenomorph was received with undisguised joy by Dead by Daylight fans. The original post on Reddit overflowed with entranced players, who began to speculate on what the DLC will actually contain. Many users claim that the presence of the alien also heralds the appearance of its nemesis - Ripley. Will their suspicions prove true? We will find out soon enough.

Below you can read some sample reactions.

"Xenomorph is amazing. If we get Ripley, I will really explode," writes MartiniPolice21.

"If we get Ripley and Hicks, I'll buy every cosmetic accessory," declares In_My_Own_Image.

"Seriously, I am so excited right now. Aliens is my absolute favorite and I don't think I've been this excited since the release of Isolation!," claims Daeva_.

The popular (according to SteamDB it is played by up to nearly 50,000 people daily) game by Behaviour Interactive every now and then offers characters known from other media franchises. Recall that in recent years the game has been graced by such notables of the movie world as Michael Myers, Freddy Kryger, characters from Stranger Things or most recently - Nicolas Cage.
