Dune: Spice Wars is Growing; Update Adds and Improves Key Features

Shiro Games, listening to player requests, has released another major update for Dune: Spice Wars. Among the improvements and new features introduced are a stats board, improved balance and new locations.

Dune: Spice Wars players can definitely not complain about the lack of support from the developers. Shiro Games is trying to regularly make the required changes to its work in response to community's comments. After November's major update called Air & Sand it was time for another one, this time called Line in the Sand.

As we read on the game's official website, the latest patch (already available) added for Dune: Spice Wars a host of fixes and new features. Especially interesting is the introduction of a statistics table, which the community has been demanding for some time now. Thanks to it, at the end of each game its participants can boast of their achievements.

Significant changes have also been made to the balance, especially with regard to military units. Their AI has also been improved. In addition, in order to make the start of the game fairer, a Landsraad bar has been added, showing the different phases of development and making them clearer and easier to control.

It is worth mentioning that the Line in the Sand update has also introduced new locations (the wreck of a space cruiser and mountains), military equipment, village features, spy operations and changes to advisors. More information can be found here.

Dune: Spice Wars debuted in early access in April 2022, and joined the PC Game Pass subscription offer in November. The release of the full version is planned for this year.

Currently on Steam we can purchase Shiro Games' work 20% off. The deal lasts until January 30 - after that time Dune: Spice Wars will return to standard price.
