Dyson Sphere Program, a space economic strategy game in the style of Factorio and Satisfactory, will soon receive a free update that will introduce an element that has been anticipated since the early access period began.
While Dyson Sphere Program is relatively rarely talked about, the game by the Chinese studio Youthcat remains a real hit with a steadily growing fanbase. In fact, such popularity is hardly surprising, since the creators do not stop in the continuous development of their title.
Proof of their commitment to improve the space strategy game is the free update announced some time ago, called Rise of the Dark Fog. We first heard about it back at Tokyo Game Show 2023 (via PC Gamer), and now the developers have announced its release date - it's December 15..
The developers also shared details about the novelties that Rise of the Dark Fog will bring to Dyson Sphere Program. The most important element will be, according to the developers, "an innovative combat system."
Below you can watch a trailer presenting Rise of the Dark Fog in action.
Dyson Sphere Program is available in Early Access on personal computers. You can buy the title on Steam and it's available as part of PC Game Pass.
And although the game is still in early access, it boasts very positive reviews. At the time of writing this news, the strategy game has received more than 70 thousand comments on Valve's platform, 97% of which are positive. The game is regularly played by approx. 4 thousand people at the same time, and the record is 59,815 players.
